CODE OF ETHICS

      As a member of the Police Chiefs Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, I recognize my duty to abide by the rules of the Association and to assist in the professionalization of law enforcement. As a responsible law enforcement administrator, I pledge myself to obey the Law of the Land and to direct my energies and resources to the achievement of justice. Further:

      I will respect the rights of all people as guaranteed by the Constitutions of the United States and of the respective States, to the end that I will guard the right of every person to life, liberty, equality, and justice; safeguard lives and property; protect the innocent against deception; the weak against intimidation; and the peaceful against violence and disorder.

      I will keep my public and private life unsullied as an example to others.

      I will not become a member of or support any organization which has aims that are contrary to the Constitution of the United States.
